After his sister's passing five years ago, Satsuki Kakeru felt a profound emptiness in his life. Fortunately, his childhood friend Minase Yuka and other schoolmates supported him, allowing him to resume a normal routine.
But, one day, the sky turned a deep crimson, and the moon transformed into a black abyss. The streets were overrun by grotesque monsters, and Kakeru and Yuka found themselves fleeing for their lives. When the world returned to normal, they quickly realized that it was not a dream, as the Red Night returned.
Kakeru and Yuka were joined by four other individuals who had also been caught up in the strange phenomenon. Kusakabe Misuzu, a skilled onmyouji swordsman with fiery red hair, Tachibana Kukuri, a quiet girl who eerily resembled Kakeru's deceased sister, Hirohara Yukiko, a cheerful young woman who became a ruthless killer when she removed her glasses, and Tajima Takahisa, a gifted pyrokineticist, all fought to stay alive together.
Their struggles became even more challenging when six ominous shadows appeared before them without warning...
