Ochiai has a modest personality and often displays a serious disposition. Following a separation from her partner, she moves into a new home complex where she coincidentally meets Sawatari, a vivacious younger man who resides in the same building. Following Sawatari's kind act of rescuing Ochiai from an intoxicated individual, they frequently run into each other.
