RECONNECTING WITH FATHER
Yoichi Yamashita makes a trip back to his hometown after a more than a decade to pay his respects at his father's funeral. As family members gather and reminisce over drinks, Yoichi's childhood memories come flooding back. From playing on the floor of his father's barber shop during spring afternoons, to experiencing the devastation of a fire that destroyed their home and living through his parents' divorce and a new stepmom.
He learns about his father's life and personality by confiding in those who knew him best, and discovers the man he had formerly viewed as distant and cold, through cherished memories and stories.
