The small seaside town has recently been hit by a powerful summer storm. The next day, debris that was carried by the waves is strewn across the glistening sands under a clear blue sky. The sight intrigues a group of friends as they search for interesting items among the wreckage, and they are joined by an unexpected visitor – a young girl named Chouko. Despite her uncertainty about her own situation, Chouko is familiar with the sleepy town and vividly recollects how it looked more than eight decades ago.
