For generations, the Arcana Famiglia has governed and protected the small island of Regalo. Specially chosen individuals within the organization, known as Tarocco, bear a mark that grants them the power of the Arcana. One of these Tarocco is Felicità, the sole daughter of the Famiglia's aging leader, "Papa" Mondo.
Despite Mondo's successful efforts in warding off external threats, he announces his retirement, and his coveted position will soon be open for contest. To spice things up, he establishes the "Arcana Duello," where only the strongest Arcana wielder will be granted the title and Felicità's hand in marriage.
Against her father's wishes, Felicità enters the competition to reclaim her independence and take control of her destiny. Meanwhile, her suitors battle one another, vying for her affection as they assist their "princess" in achieving her objective.
