Many years ago, the infamous Enma Syndicate's leader brought together numerous yakuza groups. However, following his death, these groups dispersed, filled with supernatural beings known as ayashimon who now roam the shadows of modern-day Japan.
Maruo Kaidou has spent his life honing his skills, inspired by his beloved manga heroes. His sheer strength is so great that he cannot find work or be accepted into any martial arts organization. But just as he loses hope, a young yakuza leader named Urara crosses his path, fleeing from a rival gang.
Although Urara initially resists Maruo's offer to fight by her side due to his human status, he eagerly embraces the opportunity for adventure in a world where individuals possess incredible abilities. Deciding to join her group, Maruo becomes its very first member, excited to leave behind his dull past.
