Kazuya possesses a unique talent that has the potential to alter the course of the world, making him the target of many youkai. When Kazuya was just twelve years old, his parents were brutally murdered by a youkai who went by the name of Yasashiware. Driven by a deep desire for retribution, Kazuya vowed to claim one thousand youkai heads as a tribute to his parents. Thus begins the tale of Kazuya, known as the wind runner, as he journeys across Japan to fulfill his quest for vengeance.
