Nize, a merman with stunning blue eyes, rescues Prince Leonhart from drowning. Together, they find themselves marooned on an island with no other apparent inhabitants. But at night, Nize hears peculiar voices that he alone can perceive.
As they spend more time together, Nize realizes that if he lingers on land with Leonhart for an extended period, he will forfeit his tail. While returning to his fellow merfolk in the ocean appears judicious, Nize struggles with conflicting emotions, torn between his heart's desires.
