Ten years ago, Nakahara Asami lost both of her parents in a tragic car accident and was left orphaned. Since then, a mysterious guardian known as "Daddy Long-Legs" or "Ashinaga-ojisan" has taken care of her education and finances. However, the condition for his assistance was that Asami had to work hard at school and pursue her parents' dream of becoming a doctor. Despite everything, she was not allowed to discover the true identity of her benefactor. As she begins her first year of medical school, Asami tries to distance herself from her boyfriend, Katsumi, and adjust to her new life. Along the way, she meets Moritsugu Shun, a secretive fellow student, and Dr. Hayasaka Tasuku, a charming new professor with his own secrets. As she unravels the mysteries of her new surroundings, Asami wonders if she will ever uncover the truth about Ashinaga-ojisan and what her future holds.
