To fulfill his dream, he obsessively endeavors to construct a flawless replica of Marie in the form of an android. His hard work pays off as the android Marie is created with human-like intellect, emotions, and physical resemblance (save for her hair color). However, Karigari neglects the consequences his creation may pose.
