Seeking refuge from a rainy day, Samon found himself in a floral boutique where he coincidentally crossed paths with Koito, a staff member. However, as Samon became entangled in his peers' romantic entanglements and distanced from his classmates, he unjustly took out his frustrations on Koito, questioning the sincerity of her constant smile. This caused him to harbor feelings of self-loathing and rumination. As a result, Samon was bewildered when Koito presented him with a diary on their graduation day. Nevertheless, upon reading the heartfelt message, "I remember middle school being so much fun because you were there with me…" despite his negative self-image, Samon was moved. Time flew by, and Samon began his sophomore year at high school, where he was surprised to find Koito had also enrolled.
