Tobio Masubuchi is satisfied with his ordinary existence yet wishes for a lengthy and pleasurable life without any hindrances. He spends each day with his dear comrades Sho Isami, Yuki "Maru" Maruyama, and Hidero "Paisen" Kosaka, making the most of every moment without a care in the world. However, Maru's casual remark is overheard by hooligans from a nearby school, leading to a series of unfortunate events.
When Maru is abducted and subjected to a merciless assault, his friends are appalled by the gruesome state he is in. Fueled by outrage, Tobio proposes that they retaliate immediately and they quickly devise a plan before putting it into action. What was intended as a harmless prank turns out to be lethal, completely shattering Tobio's dream of living a tranquil life.
