While escaping from the downpour, Suh Rin dashes into Cafe Occult for shelter. However, as she departs, a car hits her, after which a shadowy individual snatches her away to an isolated alley. But, fate favors her when a generous man rescues her and takes her back to the cafe. It's then that Suh Rin discovers she has undergone a metamorphosis into a spirit. The cafe's Master and his attendant, Young, harbor an enigmatic bond that reveals to Suh Rin that she is being pursued by both the physical and ethereal worlds. Fortunately, Young's special bullets offer her the sole defense against those hunting her.
