Despite planning to become an artist after high school, Hiroki ceased drawing for reasons unknown. He later took up a teaching position at Nadesico Academy, where his cousin Elis was a student. Hiroki's childhood friend Kiri followed suit and became a PE teacher at the same institution. It seems that Kiri played a role in Hiroki's decision to abandon his passion for art.
