Despite his exceptional hearing abilities, high school student Naota Miura is an outcast among his peers because of his obsessive tinkering with gears. One day, while showering, a massive container crashes into his apartment. Inside, he finds RyuZU, a remarkably well-preserved automaton, and decides to restore her.
