In the era of exploration and discovery, European voyagers returned from far-off lands with exotic specimens previously unknown in Europe. These adventurers and wealthy individuals collected their finds and displayed them in Wunder Kammer, or Rooms of Wonder. Eventually, efforts were made to consolidate these collections and display them to the world, leading to the establishment of the British Museum. In the 19th century, researchers began to study these collections, unlocking the mysteries of the world previously hidden within the Wunder Kammer with the aid of scientific inquiry. Queen Charlotte of England appointed three of the most skilled researchers as the Three Wise Men, bestowing upon them the title of knights and the three rings of C.M.B. (representing the three wise men in the Bible who journeyed to see the newborn Christ). These rings granted their holders unlimited access to research funds and materials around the globe. The rings were traditionally passed down to promising apprentices, and they now reside with Sakaki Shinra, the foster son of the previous Three Wise Men. Shinra eagerly awaits the opportunity to uncover the fascinating secrets concealed within the depths of the Wunder Kammer, but admission to the museum requires payment.
