Kaji Rikuo, a typical high school teenager, has his routine life turned upside down when a charming girl wearing cat ears, Vanilla, enters the scene. Vanilla claims that her creator, Ibu Kiriko, blended various animal traits to create her, making her a chimera-like being. Unfortunately, Kiriko has a grudge against Rikuo, but he cannot fathom why. Despite this, Rikuo develops a bond with Vanilla and her naive ways. Little does he know, Vanilla can transform into a ferocious animal with a single directive from Kiriko, putting Rikuo in danger.
