Aihara Minoru, a 20-year-old aspiring action manga artist, journeys to Tokyo with hopes of realizing his dreams. Much to his surprise, he secures a job as the live-in assistant to his favorite mangaka, Takakura Kenji, creator of the renowned fighting manga "Ultimate Banchou."
Upon his arrival, Aihara is taken aback to discover that his idol is not the tough guy he had always envisioned. Rather, Takakura Kenji is the pseudonym of Sekai Ichiko, a girl of the same age who embodies the characteristics of a moe character, resembling a young child in both looks and behavior. Despite the obvious disappointment that Aihara displays, the duo must find a way to work together, and Aihara must surpass her expectations and prove that he has what it takes to become a manga artist.
