Asai and Ishikura, who enjoy mountain climbing together, find themselves stuck in a storm after an accident. Ishikura, convinced that he is facing death, chooses to unburden himself and confesses a past sin. Ultimately, they make it to an abandoned cabin and wait for rescue, but the burden of Ishikura's confession takes a toll on both of them, and the extended wait begins to erode their mental stability.
