Kai Lucas seeks assistance from the Bebop crew to track down his troublesome double, but their endeavors are unsuccessful. Spike and Jet are once again penniless and hungry. To make matters worse, Spike finds himself inexplicably added to the police's most wanted list, unsure if it's a cruel joke or a grave technical mistake. Despite their predicament, the team must decide between being hunted by every bounty hunter in the galaxy or taking on a precocious child, an intelligent dog, and a seductive woman as part of their group. If they manage to survive the wrath of notorious foes like the Scorpion or the Dragon Head Family, they'll still have to contend with the added expenses of feeding their newfound friends.
