Sakurai was not one to use terms like "hard working" or "passionate," and the idea of team sports held no appeal for him. However, a chance encounter with his female classmate Toyoguchi in the locker room changed everything. In exchange for his silence about her nudity, Sakurai was coerced into taking on the role of manager for the school's female lacrosse team. Although initially reluctant, he began to appreciate Toyoguchi's enthusiasm for the sport, and gradually found himself becoming more invested in it. No longer content to coast through life, Sakurai takes on a new sense of purpose as he learns to throw himself into something worth pursuing.
