Despite her love for Mitsuru, Sumi's attempts to appear more attractive as a woman fail when she tries an experimental growth hormone developed by her scientist father. Instead of becoming more alluring, the medicine transforms her into a stunning young man. Surprisingly, even Mitsuru starts showing interest in her/him. Though the new dynamic with Mitsuru isn't perfect, Sumi enjoys being able to connect with him on a more equal level. However, this newfound friendship comes with its own set of problems, especially when Mitsuru confesses his love for a girl in his grade.
