Haight and Andrews, two accomplished engineers, worked for a company poised to revolutionize nanotechnology and change the course of history. While exploring a new technology that could drastically improve people's lives and cure diseases, Haight discovered Andrews wanted to use it for military purposes. Fearing the dire consequences, Haight resigned from the company, taking all the documents and research on his breakthrough with him. However, Andrews, fueled by rage, laid a trap for Haight and, with the help of his five vile henchmen, brutally tortured and murdered Haight's loved ones. They even went a step further by severing both his arms and leaving him for dead.
Miraculously, Haight was rescued by a mysterious doctor and his assistant who tinkered with a mysterious force called "The Zetsmos," which enabled people to control their bodies' ghosts while still alive. According to reports of people who had lost their limbs, they could still "feel and move" them. Using this power, the body could assimilate any material and reproduce the limb that had vanished, such as wood, paper, water, and metal.
However, awakening the Zetsmos was fraught with danger and excruciating pain, as the bearer must sacrifice themselves between life and death to encounter it. Haight, blinded by his desire for vengeance and justice, would stop at nothing to inflict his revenge on Andrews and his accomplices. His determination to harness the mysterious power, however, will enable him to embark on his vendetta relentlessly.
