After his father's tragic suicide, Makoto finds himself living with his grandmother and struggling with loneliness and self-doubt as a teenager. However, his world takes an unexpected turn when he catches the attention of rebellious and well-liked Yuki. Yuki shares her radical ideas on fighting corruption through destruction, which intrigues Makoto. To his surprise, it appears that Yuki knows about Makoto's supernatural powers.
