Shinichi Honda is a high school freshman who lacks a filter for both his speech and behaviour. While he possesses a noble and kind personality, his blunt remarks often leave little room for tact or diplomacy. Meanwhile, Mako Wakamiya is a member of the public morals committee who exudes a composed and collected aura from a distance. However, up close, she reveals her clumsy nature and her penchant for romance.
Their first meeting is marked by mutual awkwardness and discomfort, with both youths in the midst of their own personal predicaments. However, months later, their paths cross once again when Mako is tasked with confiscating an adult manga in Shinichi's possession. What follows is a comical and chaotic pursuit throughout the school grounds. Despite their initial animosity, the two continue to encounter each other in the most unexpected of ways. Perhaps there is a chance for Shinichi and Mako to form a rapport after all.
