Boreum Park, our main character, is the offspring of a divine entity and a philandering Taoist. Kidnapped from her mother in infancy, she now resides on Earth with her father, Chun Park, hidden away by various enchanted protections from her goddess mother. Her father, always on the hunt for new women, stumbled upon a musician playing the flute and found himself enamored with the man. Seeking a reason to remain close to his new love interest, Chun Park proposed that Boreum should marry the musician's son - a decision that would soon shake the very foundations of the heavens when Boreum's whereabouts are finally discovered by her goddess mother.
