During an unknown year in the future, humanity confronts an unparalleled catastrophe as alien dragons designate Earth as their birthing place. Regrettably, after these dragon eggs hatch, they consume all the nourishment from their habitat, reducing it to a forsaken wilderness. This devastating sequence of events took place two years ago in Tokyo, causing Kamishima Jin, our protagonist, to lose those dear to him. Presently, with the assistance of a secretive girl named Toa who rescued him, he has signed up for the Dragonaut squad to prevent the destruction of Earth by these dragons.
