However, the cost is exorbitant, with rumors of a remote planet on the Galaxy Express circuit offering free android frames the only hope for him. His mother's cruel fate at the hands of the Android Count has left him thirsty for revenge and a yearning for a perfect body, giving him the drive to embark on a solitary mission to board the train.
Maetel, a mysterious woman, offers Tetsurou a ticket in exchange for his company on their interstellar sojourn. Together, they traverse diverse planets with unique peculiarities and prospects for Tetsurou to contemplate the essence of life, everlasting life, and the human mindset.
