Years after the events of Getter Robo/Shin Getter Robo, Hayato Jin has assumed leadership of NISAR, a Japanese-based, privately owned organization specializing in weapon development and research. Teaming up with Professor Tachibana, the pair work tirelessly in creating an arsenal of weapons and developing a formidable army to counter a threat that arose fifteen years prior with the actions of the deranged scientist Rando. When Rando and his followers launch a series of worldwide terrorist attacks, NISAR searches for skilled fighters capable of piloting their cutting-edge weaponry, namely the powerful Getter Robo.
