Despite the condemnation of the old, run-down building long ago, its owners have failed to tear it down due to recurrent "accidents" that have caused harm and even death. Rumors have circulated that the decayed high school may be haunted by ghosts from World War II. On a rainy day, Mai Taniyama and her classmates decide to congregate there, hoping to draw out one of the supposed spirits by sharing eerie ghost stories.
Although they never come across any discernible ghosts, Mai and her friends experience a life-changing encounter with Kazuya Shibuya, the attractive and captivating owner of Shibuya Psychic Research. He has been hired to investigate the possibility of paranormal activity at the school. Among the experts on-site are an exorcist, a Buddhist monk, a woman with the ability to communicate with the dead, and a vocal Shinto priestess. One of them is bound to possess the necessary expertise to solve this perplexing mystery!
