After dropping out of Tokyo University Law School, Ooe Kintarou completed all the necessary coursework for graduation. He meandered through various jobs across Japan, carrying only a journal, pen, and his dependable mountain bike (the Mikazuki 5) as he sought to learn from life. Along the way, he frequently found himself in compromising situations with attractive women and had to utilize his various competencies to survive and discern his true purpose. Despite his unassuming appearance, Kintarou possessed substantial skills and maintained an unyielding determination to succeed. Perhaps he could even be the one to save Japan or even the world, but then again, maybe not. From rib-tickling antics and sexual humor to ramen and acts of benevolence, Golden Boy is truly a never-ending blast.
