The narrative centers around Kohina, a young girl who unwittingly summons a low-ranking ghost from Japanese mythology, known as a Kokkuri-san. To her surprise, the ghost she conjures up is a handsome, youthful man with white hair. Despite his initial intention to simply haunt her, the Kokkuri-san becomes increasingly concerned about Kohina's unhealthy diet of instant ramen noodles. Thus, he decides to haunt her in order to protect her well-being.
