Keigo finds it difficult to cope with the separation from his childhood friend Chihiro, who had to move overseas due to family circumstances. Eventually, the distance between them becomes too painful for Keigo to handle, causing him to isolate himself from society. However, after learning about Keigo's struggles, Chihiro's mother offers to look after him when he returns home.
Upon reuniting with Chihiro, Keigo confesses his love for him. This revelation causes awkwardness between the two, as Chihiro is uncomfortable with the idea of a same-sex relationship. Additionally, Chihiro already has feelings for someone else at school.
