Upon enrolling in Toritsu Toyose High School, Kanna Shimodaira eagerly joins their volleyball club and introduces himself as the pinch server. This declaration surprises his teammates, who then proceed to introduce themselves: wing spiker Jouji Mashira, setter Ibuki Matsukata, and libero Susumu Kaneda, all of whom were selected to represent Tokyo in middle school. In order to earn a starting position on the team, Kanna must push himself to his limits and prove his worth, unless he possesses an undiscovered talent.
