A new black comedy from the same mind behind Doll and Beautiful People depicts family as the ultimate terror. Haunted House chronicles the struggles of Sabato, a struggling teenager in search of his identity, constantly hindered by his eccentric family (who bear a striking resemblance to Tim Burton's version of the Addams Family). Sabato's attempts at bringing girls home are thwarted by his family's enjoyment of his misery, leaving him to ponder if there is more at play than meets the eye. Mihara-sensei's narrative keeps the audience guessing and laughing throughout the story.
