Tsubomi Hanasaki, a second-year middle school student, has a profound love for flowers and plants. One night, she has a dream where she witnesses a captivating flowering tree withering away, causing the sprites to vanish. When Tsubomi enters Myodou Academy, she encounters the exact same sprites from her dream. They plead with her to become a Pretty Cure and protect the Great Tree, but Tsubomi refuses. However, when an unknown attacker steals Erika Kurumi's Heart Seed and endangers her classmate's well-being, Tsubomi cannot stand by and watch. She has no choice but to become a Pretty Cure and fight to save Erika's heart.
