Riku originally intended to relocate to Kyoto alongside his longtime companion Momoka. Unexpectedly, his guardians have arranged for him to be engaged to the charming Tanuki royalty, Princess Miyo! Though she has the ability to transform into a human, adapting to human lifestyle proves challenging: Miyo prepares a peculiar dish of scrambled eggs with the shells still attached, bathes in a washing machine, and even indulges in grasshopper munching. Reminded of the sentiment of jealousy by Momoka, Miyo acclimates swiftly.
