After losing his parents and sister in a tragic traffic accident, Yuuichi Tachibana takes in his seven-year-old nephew, Ayumu, in an effort to start anew. Seeking a fresh start, the duo relocates to a scenic coastal city, hoping to find solace in each other's company. It is here that they encounter Ryou Kurebayashi, the charming owner of a local souzaiya. Despite being the same age as Yuuichi, Ryou is a well-liked individual, known to the neighborhood for his popular shop. Together, the trio must confront their haunting pasts and find the strength to live in the present day by day.
