Riku Yanagi doesn't quite fit in with her peers, who prefer trendy cafes and idle chatter. Rather, she finds comfort in quaint cafes playing soft jazz music. Despite her classmates' judgment of Eito Fushimi's peculiar and introverted tendencies, Riku appreciates his individuality. One day, Riku stumbles upon Eito at a lovely cafe she's had her eye on. To her surprise, Eito's demeanor is vastly different while working. He interacts with patrons, attentively listens, and dutifully manages the cafe in his father's absence.
