A bizarre winged feline catches the attention of Reiko and her younger sibling, leading them to secretly bring it home. Unbelievably, the creature reveals itself to be an extraterrestrial peddler seeking to barter futuristic gadgets for an Earthly resource known as "hahise." Drawn in by the allure of a magical contraption capable of replicating any item, even currency, Reiko and her brother strike a deal without fully comprehending the consequences.
