Occurring during the latter part of the 1800s, a time when Japanese culture was being embraced by the Western world, the tale follows Yune, a young girl from Japan, as she embarks on a journey to France alongside a French explorer named Oscar. Upon arriving in Paris, Yune offers to lend a hand at the family's metalworking business, and although Claude, the shop's proprietor and Oscar's nephew, is initially hesitant, he ultimately agrees to care for her. Through their interactions, we witness the merging of two vastly different individuals and how they learn to coexist in the 19th-century Parisian society.
