Touka Futahara, a new student at the high school, introduces herself as the younger sibling of a childhood acquaintance of Iori Fuyutsuki's. She is known as "the envy of seniors" and admits to being mischievous. But, her excitement is palpable every day as she awaits Iori's arrival and asks to hold his hand for warmth. Iori soon realizes that Touka's tough exterior is a facade, and she is actually a timid person who startles easily. Despite trying to appear bold and playful, Touka remains anxious on the inside.
