Amongst the desolate landscape emerged Teppei, a solitary boy. Though nothing out of the ordinary, his heart was pure, and he greatly admired his father who was a police officer. Teppei had a happy life with a group of friends and a special someone, until everything suddenly changed.
One day, a handful of people, mostly comprised of criminals and miscreants, underwent a mystifying metamorphosis into hideous demons. They rampaged through cities, slaughtering the innocent and instilling fear in everyone. Teppei searched tirelessly for his missing loved ones, only to discover that he too had become one of the newly awakened demons. But his friends became a beacon of hope in his darkest moment, reminding him of who he truly was.
Rather than succumbing to his monstrous nature, Teppei vowed to become a knight - a protector of the vulnerable and an adversary of the demons. He pledged to hunt down those who preyed on the weak, keeping everyone safe.
