Ichitaka Seto, a 16-year-old high school student, has fallen deeply in love with his classmate, Iori Yoshizuki, who recently gained celebrity status for being featured in a magazine. Ichitaka's fear of rejection, due to a past experience, makes it challenging for him to confess his feelings to Iori. However, fate intervenes when they are chosen as partners for the Freshman Welcoming Ceremony, and things appear to run smoothly, albeit with a few hiccups. But everything changes when Ichitaka's childhood friend, Itsuki Akiba, unexpectedly appears, complicating their already tenuous relationship and creating a love triangle that threatens to derail their connection.
