A knight captain, who faced numerous trials during a decade of faithful service, decides to retire and acquire a new castle in search of peace. However, his desire for a calm life is quickly shattered when a small hobbit or elf arrives at his door, pleading with him to help defeat an evil god. Despite being torn, the knight captain cannot bring himself to crush the hopes of the young creature, especially after failing to alleviate their uncertainty. As a result, they set off on a journey together.
