Masato Jinguu had always been fascinated by animals from a young age. He would frequently visit the zoo and form friendships with the creatures that roamed there, including the young elephant, Hanayo. After a seven-year absence, Masato returns to find that the zoo has been transformed into Fuji Safari World, where visitors can now get up close and personal with the animals. However, there has been a significant change that Masato was not prepared for.
When Masato brought his friend, Hitomi, to the zoo, they were both distressed to discover a disturbing development. The zookeepers were now under attack from the very animals they had once cared for. It was not long before they found Hanayo's caretaker, Nakata. The shocking truth that he revealed was that the animals now had human faces!
It transpired that the creatures had been subjected to cruel experimentation by humans, and now they sought revenge. The situation quickly intensified, and Masato found himself fighting for his very survival against the once-beloved animals that he had fostered such close relationships with.
