Due to the theft of sacred spirit Okikurumi from Atsuma's village, the kamui spirits are thrown into turmoil and threaten to bring about the world's destruction through imbalance. Equipped with the spirit of an ancient sword, Atsuma leaves his hometown to retrieve Okikurumi and ultimately meets NOA - a band of young kamui wielders who may hold the key to resolving the crisis. Desperately seeking a miracle to fill her empty soul, Sumire urges Atsuma to join NOA, and together they must locate Okikurumi before the world falls victim to its unavoidable fate.
