Having harbored feelings for his childhood friend, Saki Saki, for years, Naoya Mukai is thrilled when they finally begin dating. His happiness is short-lived, however, when Nagisa Minase confesses her feelings for him. Though he initially attempts to turn her down, Naoya finds himself unable to hurt Nagisa and devises a plan to make them both happy - two-timing. While Saki rejects the notion at first, she eventually agrees due to Naoya and Nagisa's persistence. Thus, a three-way relationship begins, one that defies societal norms.
