Moguri is a renegade investigative agency that welcomes clients that have been turned away by other establishments. Its two primary agents, Kizuna Kagami and Maya Midou, are young, attractive men who do not fit the typical mold of private eyes. Despite their unique appearance and questionable actions, they have proven to be highly skilled at resolving cases. However, when pursuing the truth, they may uncover more than they bargained for. This is due to Kizuna's secret ability as an "empath," allowing him to feel the emotions of those around him.
Kizuna's empathetic powers surpass those of his peers. Through "linking" with an individual, he can obtain their talents and accomplish feats that would be impossible for him otherwise. Nevertheless, prolonged usage of this talent can have a severe impact on one's self-identity. Kizuna runs the risk of losing sight of his own persona, a fate that Maya, his long-term companion since secondary school, is adamantly against.
