Sergeant Keroro leads the Space Invasion Forces Special Advance Team from the 58th Planet of the Gamma Storm Cloud System. Their mission is to gather information for the upcoming invasion of their planet's target: Earth, also known as Pokopen. Despite being a frog, Keroro is the captain of the team. However, their journey takes a turn for the worse when their spacecraft malfunctions and crash-lands on Earth.
The Hinata household becomes Keroro's temporary hiding spot, but he is quickly discovered by two curious children, Fuyuki and Natsume. They confiscate Keroro's extraterrestrial weapons, leaving him vulnerable. When his people learn of the breach in their secrecy, Keroro is abandoned on Earth to fend for himself. However, he soon learns that he isn't the only pre-invasion agent on the planet.
Chapter 6.5 delves deeper into Keroro's struggles as he navigates this strange and unwelcoming planet, all while trying to fulfill his duty to his own people.
